We provide an early intervention and prevention service that is aimed at improving children’s development and wellbeing, as well as supporting the capacity of those in the parenting role.

Our goal is to empower young parents to build thriving families.

Various groups are delivered by two qualified and experienced facilitators.

We provide education and support around:

  • Life skills
  • Parenting capacity
  • Physical health and wellbeing
  • Social and emotional connections
  • Peer support

Access

This is a free program open to anyone 25 years of age or under who is a parent, or soon-to-be parent.

The program is run in Albury and Wodonga, Monday to Wednesday. The groups generally run for two hours, starting mid-morning (the exact time depends on the weather and activities).

Groups are run during the school term. They are held within the community and facilities at Gateway Health.

All groups are free of charge and some transport can be provided.
