Our aim is to make it easier for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members to access government and other support services that are available to the general community.

The service provides transport, advocacy, referrals, and links into other programs and services such as health, legal and housing, or for other issues which can assist members of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Gateway Health employs an identified Aboriginal staff member in this program. We also employ staff from local indigenous communities in other programs, bringing an understanding of the issues and concerns their community might have.

This service operates alongside our other support services including Integrated Care and GP Support, and the Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY).

Access

This is a free service that is available to all people identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community members.
