Each school term we run a mix of programs such as Tuning in to Kids, Tuning in to Teens, Triple P and other short workshops and information sessions.

Tuning in to Kids – Wodonga

A five‑week program for parents and carers of children aged 2–10 years. Learn practical emotion coaching tools to help your child understand and manage feelings, while strengthening your relationship.

Tuning in to Teens – online

A six‑week online group for parents and carers of young people aged 10–18 years, focusing on understanding and responding to teens’ emotions.

Raising Resilient Children – Alpine Shire

A two‑hour seminar exploring simple strategies to help children build confidence, manage emotions and bounce back from life’s challenges.

An evening online session for parents and carers wanting practical tools to support children’s resilience, confidence and emotional regulation.

Early Years Education Training

A full‑day professional development workshop for people working with young children, focusing on practical strategies to support families and promote children’s social and emotional development.

Parent Troubleshooting sessions

90‑minute appointments with a trained Parent Educator to focus on one key parenting challenge, using evidence‑based strategies tailored to your family.

Dates: From 2 February (4 weeks)

Times:

9–10.30 am

10.30 am–12 pm

12–1.30 pm

On: Mondays – Wednesdays – Fridays

Format: Online, phone or face to face

This is a free service available to anyone living in the Ovens and Murray region who cares for children aged from 0 to 18 years.

Individual parenting support

As well as group programs, Gateway Health provides individual parenting support throughout the year. This includes the Positive Parenting Telephone Service, face-to-face parenting sessions and Parent Troubleshooting appointments. These one-on-one options connect you with a trained Parent Educator for tailored, practical support focused on your family’s needs.
