Domestic and family violence

Our commitment to addressing family violence

As a funded provider of specialist family violence services, Gateway Health is committed to preventing and responding to family violence in all its forms. We recognise family violence as a serious public health issue and a violation of human rights.

We provide safe, inclusive and trauma-informed care for individuals and families affected by family violence. We work collaboratively with community partners to support victim-survivors, promote safety and recovery, and contribute to the prevention of violence.

We are dedicated to continuous improvement, cultural safety, and upholding the dignity and wellbeing of all people who seek our support.

Programs and support

As well as providing services, we also offer a range of group programs to support safety, recovery and positive change.
