The program offers responsive and timely support, including providing information, education and referral, where necessary, to community members seeking support.
The specific target group is families that reside in NSW with at risk children or young people, including pregnant women. Priority is provided to Aboriginal children, young people, and families experiencing challenges and/or barriers to identifying and accessing the services they need to live independent and self-determined lives.
The CAFS program provides:

- Evidence based group work and education
- Building supportive relationships and social networks
