Positive Parenting Telephone Service offers parent education programs and support by phone for parents, grandparents and carers.
This service provides a supported and practical approach to raising children that focuses on building strong connections, strengthening family relationships, encouraging positive behaviour, managing challenges and learning new skills.

How Positive Parenting Telephone Service can help
Positive Parenting Telephone Service can support parents and carers through a range of parent education programs delivered by phone, by trained parent educators including Positive Parenting, Stepping Stones, Tuning in to Kids, Tuning in to Teens, Tuning in to Toddlers, Dads Tuning in to Kids, Bringing Up Great Kids, and Infant and Baby Care Parenting Program.
The programs are tailored to the needs of each family and provides practical guidance to help build confidence, strengthen relationships and respond to parenting challenges.
Parents and carers can be supported to

- set boundaries, rules and routines
- develop realistic expectations of themselves and their children

These free phone-based parenting support sessions are available to parents, grandparents and carers living in the Hume region who are caring for children aged 2 to 18 years.
Appointments are available during the day and some evenings with a trained parent educator.
