Our Endorsed Midwife provides

  • Fee for service and limited bulk‑billing (Medicare‑funded) pregnancy care across your whole pregnancy journey, depending on your circumstances.
  • Pregnancy related pathology and ultrasound referrals.
  • Prescriptions for pregnancy and women’s health‑related medications.
  • Referrals to other pregnancy and women’s health specialists if needed.
  • Collaborative care with your broader pregnancy team, within Gateway Health and with external providers, including your chosen place of birth.

Pregnancy care fees

Our Endorsed Midwife Care Program is a mixed billing model. Maternity Care Plan consultations are bulk billed for all patients. Below are current approximate out-of-pocket fees (as at March 2026)*:

Eligible Concession and Health Care Card holders

  • All consultations – out of pocket $30

Non-Concession and Health Care Card holders

  • Initial consultation – out of pocket $90
  • Follow up consultations – out of pocket $70
