Podiatry has returned to Gateway Health’s Wodonga location as part of our commitment to providing accessible healthcare services to the community

The podiatry service offers a valuable, low-cost service for people requiring podiatry care who might not be able to attend private services. It ensures a convenient and consistent option for care for patients of the Gateway Health medical practice.

“Our team understands how important this service is for the community,” Clinical Lead Podiatry Brydie Donnelly said.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring back the clinic and continue supporting those who need it most.”

Operating one day per week, the clinic prioritises individuals eligible for a ‘Team Care Arrangement’ or ‘Enhanced Primary Care Plan’ referral from their GP, focusing on those with low to moderate podiatric risk.

Patients with higher-risk conditions are referred to Albury Wodonga Health Podiatry.

The reopening of the podiatry clinic is in response to local demand for the service.

“The response from both staff and clients has been overwhelmingly positive,” Brydie said.

“It’s wonderful to see the impact this clinic has on people’s lives and the relief it brings to those who have been waiting for care.”
