Gateway Health held is Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 29 November. At the meeting, Gateway Health said goodbye to Board Director Catherine Upcher after nearly 17 years as a Board Director. We’re very thankful for her contributions over the years and wish her all the best in the future.
In addition, David Koschitzke stepped down as Board Chair after three years in the role, and Ruth Davenport has been nominated and accepted the position. Ms Davenport is a resident of Markwood and prior to her retirement was a General Manager for Mind Australia. Ms Davenport has a passion for developing and maintaining high quality services and systems in rural and regional areas that are responsive to the needs of clients, their families and carers and in leading and developing staff to enable their full potential.
Lastly, we welcomed two new Board Directors: Brent Quill and Joy Hewitt.
Mr Quill lives in Albury, is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA), and is the Corporate Services Manager at the Centre Against Violence.
Mrs Hewitt lives near Alexandra and is a pharmacist. She works with universities, research institutes and biomedical companies to commercialise their life sciences technologies. She is also a consumer advisor to Alfred Health.
Our Board of Directors will continue to guide Gateway Health in our vision of People Living Well.
