Gateway Health extends our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the tragic events in Porepunkah this week. Our thoughts are especially with the families, friends and colleagues of the two police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Their courage, service and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
We also want to acknowledge and sincerely thank all police, emergency services and first responders for their tireless work under such challenging circumstances. Their efforts make a profound difference in keeping our communities safe.
At times like this, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed, even if you were not directly involved. Events of this scale ripple through our community and can affect people in ways they might not expect. Gateway Health is here to support the mental health and wellbeing of our community.
