Latest NSW travel restrictions

New travel restrictions have been introduced for people travelling to and from parts of New South Wales in response to a cluster of Covid-19 infections in Sydney’s Northern Beaches area.

The situation is being monitored closely and it is possible that further restrictions may be introduced.

At the time of writing, people living in border areas of NSW do not require a permit to travel into Victoria unless they have recently travelled through a so-called ‘Red Zone’ where infection risks have been declared to be higher than the State as a whole.
