Language help for border permits

Some useful videos have been created to explain the process for getting a border permit in a range of languages spoken by newer migrant groups in the community, courtesy of Albury Wodonga Ethnic Communities Council (AWECC). If you know someone who might need this help, please point them in the right direction to these video links!

The videos include translated information of how to get tested for Covid 19 in Albury Wodonga, as well as

  • symptoms for testing
  • Albury Wodonga Health phone number to call
  • asking for a phone interpreter
  • explaining the test
  • How you need to self-isolate (yourself and your family) if you get tested, until you get the results
  • How you will get the results
  • Asking for a medical certificate to be excused from work or study until you get the results
