Face-to-face legal advice is back

Free ‘in person’ legal advice for Gateway Health clients is available once more from Hume Riverina Community Legal Service.

Face-to-face meetings were suspended some time ago due to Covid-19, but the service is now able to meet clients again in person, as long as masks are worn at all times.

 It will still be possible to meet by phone if preferred, as the Legal Service continues to offer a free phone service as it has done during the Covid-19 pandemic.

 Gateway Health clients can access the legal service through their normal contact person at Gateway Health, or by calling the Legal Service direct – 1800 918 377. The service can help with issues including:

  • Fines
  • Car accidents
  • Tenants and landlords
  • Centrelink problems
  • Debts
  • Child support
  • Family law
  • Child protection
  • Care of children after separation
  • Victims of crime compensation
  • Family violence
