Gateway Health is an innovative and supportive Community Health Service with offices in Wodonga, Wangaratta and Myrtleford. The organisation delivers a broad range of primary health services. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our organisation in the following position:
Team Leader – Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD)
The Team Leader – AOD supports the Program Manager AOD in the effective and efficient operation of a range of mental health and substance use programs.
The Gateway Health AOD program area currently comprises approximately 23 staff, with a number of new positions and projects funded and in development. It is a vibrant team with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for and with consumers and their families. The AOD Team offers state-funded AOD services including AOD Assessment, Counselling, Care and Recovery Coordination, Youth Outreach, Non-Residential Withdrawal, Pharmacotherapy and Family Drug Support. The AOD Team also provides Commonwealth funded Pharmacotherapy Program and Non-Residential rehabilitation program. AOD services are offered from our sites in Wodonga and Wangaratta, and on an outreach basis across North East Victoria.
The AOD Team Leader works collaboratively with the AOD leadership team to ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day management of these programs, including caseload allocation and work-flow management; administrative supervision; financial management; planning and reporting; partnership management and service development.
